I started reading Rose and from the first page knew I was going to enjoy the story of her progress through her presentation to The Queen and coming out ball and onwards.
Charlotte describes her characters and surroundings with such clarity and economy of words that I had an immediate image in my mind which doesn't happen very often for me. Rose's story left me wanting more.
Rose is a superbly written regency romance that transports you back to this era.
The characters are realistic interesting , you can’t help becoming invested in what is happening with each character.
A truely captivating and intriguing storyline, leaving you wanting to know what happens next with the Summersley family.

I started and finished the book in one day with small breaks. When a story is impeccably written, it is hard for me to put down. In short, I loved this story, and I look forward to reading book 2, Estelle and Ambrose.
Book 2 of the Summersley saga doesn’t disappoint, it leaves you impatient for book 3. This great storyline continues with its strong diverse and fascinating characters. Superbly written as you would expect from the author
